Is 18 aps score good?
Generally an aps score of 18 is considered to be a satisfactory score. It is the minimum requirement for admission to many higher certificate and diploma courses at universities in South Africa. Unfortunately with an aps of 18 you cannot apply for bachelor courses, to apply for bachelor courses you need a higher aps score.
Truth is, many universities will accept students who have an APS score that is higher than the minimum. This is because universities are looking for students who are academically strong and who are likely to succeed in their studies. Consider upgrading or rewriting your matric to stand a better chance of being accepted in majority of universities.
