About This Programme

Offered under the School of Law. A three-year LLB for graduates who completed their undergraduate degree at an institution other than Wits, or Wits students without a BA Law or BCom Law background.

  • English Home Language or First Additional Language 4 50–59%

Additional Requirements

  • For graduates only — no matric APS calculation
  • Applicants who completed an undergraduate degree at an institution other than Wits may be required to apply for the three-year LLB
  • Wits students without a BA Law or BCom Law background are also required to apply for the three-year LLB
  • Applicants must have obtained an average of at least 65% for the final year of their undergraduate degree
Subject to assessment criteria as determined by the School of Law and place availability. No matric APS calculation applies. Minimum 65% average for final year of undergraduate degree required.
