Part-time BSc in Engineering in Mechanical Engineering offered under the Faculty of Engineering and the Built Environment. The first year is offered over two years on a part-time basis; thereafter students move to full-time study.

• The first year of the Wits Engineering degree is offered over two years on a part-time basis
• After completion of the first year, students will need to move to full-time study to complete the remainder of the degree
• Part-time students are not eligible to apply for NSFAS funding or to be placed in a campus residence
