Offered under the Faculty of Health Sciences. Selection is based on a Composite Index (CI) combining academic results and National Benchmark Test scores.

Admission Requirements

Required Subjects NSC levels

  • English Home Language or First Additional Language 4 50–59%
  • Mathematics 4 50–59%
  • Maths Literacy 4 50–59%
  • Life Sciences AND/OR Physical Sciences 4 50–59%

Additional Requirements

  • Please note that from 2029 the Faculty may require applicants to all Health Sciences programmes to have completed both Life Sciences and Physical Sciences
Selection is not based on school leaving results only. A Composite Index (CI) is calculated with 60% weighting for academic results (five subjects) and 40% for National Benchmark Test scores. Mathematics Level 4 OR Maths Literacy Level 4 accepted.
