About This Programme

An extended four-year variant of the BSc (Life Sciences Stream) offered under the School of Molecular and Life Sciences, Faculty of Science and Agriculture, allowing students an additional year to achieve the learning outcomes.

Admission Requirements
Minimum APS score of 22 (excluding Life Orientation)

Required Subjects NSC levels

  • English 4 50–59%
  • Mathematics 4 50–59%
  • Physical Sciences 4 50–59%
  • Life Science 3 40–49%

Additional Requirements

  • Additional subjects to contribute to minimum APS total of 22

Life Orientation is excluded from the APS / score calculation.
