About UL

The University of Limpopo (UL), affectionately known as 'Turfloop', is a public university located in Mankweng, Limpopo Province. It was formed on 1 January 2005 through the merger of the University of the North and the Medical University of South Africa (MEDUNSA). With a strong focus on finding solutions for Africa, UL serves nearly 28,000 students across four faculties, offering undergraduate and postgraduate programmes in Health Sciences, Humanities, Science and Agriculture, and Management and Law.
