About This Programme

A four-year professional psychology degree offered under the School of Social Sciences, Faculty of Humanities. Admission is subject to passing a selection test in addition to meeting minimum APS requirements.

Admission Requirements
Minimum APS score of 23 (excluding Life Orientation)

Required Subjects NSC levels

  • English 4 50–59%
  • Additional Language 4 50–59%
One of the following
  • Mathematics 3 40–49%
  • Mathematical Literacy 5 60–69%
  • Three additional subjects 4 50–59%

Additional Requirements

  • Admission is also dependent on passing a selection test

Life Orientation is excluded from the APS / score calculation.
