About This Programme

An extended four-year variant of the BA in Media Studies offered under the School of Language and Communication Studies, Faculty of Humanities, allowing students an additional year to achieve the learning outcomes.

Admission Requirements
Minimum APS score of 23 (excluding Life Orientation)

Required Subjects NSC levels

  • English 4 50–59%
  • Another Language (Northern Sotho/Tshivenda/Xitsonga) 4 50–59%

Additional Requirements

  • Additional subjects to contribute to minimum APS total of 23

Life Orientation is excluded from the APS / score calculation.
