About This Programme

The BCom Augmented programme is a four-year extended curriculum that provides students who meet basic degree requirements with additional academic support in foundational commerce subjects.

Admission Requirements

Required Subjects

  • Mathematics 3 40–49%
  • English Home Language or First Additional Language 3 40–49%

Additional Requirements

  • Applicants applying for BCom 4-year Augmented must select only one stream.
  • This programme is offered on Main Campus only.
NSC Degree endorsement with English 3 and Mathematics 3/Mathematical Literacy 4. Matric Exemption: English 'E' HG/'D' SG and Mathematics 'E' HG/'D' SG. N5 or N6 with English and Mathematics. Available streams include: Banking and Business Management; Accounting and Business Management; Business Management and Economics; Economics and Banking; Economics and Human Resources Management; Human Resources Management and Business Management; Accounting and Economics; Accounting and Auditing.
