About This Programme

A four-year degree preparing students for teaching and training roles at pre-primary schools and early childhood development centres.

Admission Requirements

Required Subjects

  • English Home Language or English First Additional Language 4 50–59%

Additional Requirements

  • A police clearance certificate (PCC) is recommended.
  • Students must declare their status under oath in terms of Part B of the National Child Protection Register (NCPR).
APS is calculated from the 6 best subjects excluding Life Orientation. English is the language of teaching and learning.
