About This Programme

The Extended Curriculum version of the BCom Accounting spreads the first year over two years, providing additional academic support for students who show potential but require extra preparation.

Admission Requirements

Required Subjects

  • Mathematics 4 50–59%
  • English Home Language or First Additional Language 4 50–59%
  • Life Orientation 4 50–59%

Additional Requirements

  • Students who have previously attended UKZN or any other tertiary institution for a complete semester in a degree or access programme will NOT be admitted.
Also available at Westville Campus (KN-W-BCO). Students who attended any tertiary institution for a complete semester are ineligible.
