The BCom Extended Curriculum (General) is designed for students who meet the minimum requirements for degree study but need additional academic support during their first year.

Admission Requirements

Required Subjects

  • Mathematics 3 40–49%
  • English Home Language or First Additional Language 4 50–59%
  • Life Orientation 4 50–59%

Additional Requirements

  • Students who attended any tertiary institution for a complete semester in any programme are not eligible.
