About This Programme

Prepares graduates for careers as Human Resource Practitioners, HRM Personnel Managers, Training Managers, and Recruitment and Selection Officers. Graduates may register as HR Practitioners with the South African Board of People Practices (SABPP) to encourage regulated, standardised HR practices.

Admission Requirements
Minimum APS score of 28 (excluding Life Orientation)

Required Subjects NSC levels

  • English 4 50–59%
One of the following
  • Mathematics 4 50–59%
  • Technical Mathematics 4 50–59%
  • Mathematical Literacy 5 60–69%

Additional Requirements

  • APS 28 with Maths/Tech Maths OR 28 with Mathematical Literacy

Life Orientation is excluded from the APS / score calculation.

APS 28 with Mathematics or Technical Mathematics, or APS 28 with Mathematical Literacy. Life Orientation is NOT included in the APS calculation.
