About This Programme

Extended Curriculum Programme variant of Diploma in Small Business Management, offering an additional foundation year for first-time entering candidates. It is recommended that applicants show a desire to start their own business.

Admission Requirements
Minimum APS score of 19 (excluding Life Orientation)

Required Subjects NSC levels

  • English 4 50–59%
One of the following
  • Mathematics 3 40–49%
  • Technical Mathematics 3 40–49%
  • Mathematical Literacy 4 50–59%

Additional Requirements

  • Only first time (new) entering candidates are considered for admission
  • Previously enrolled Higher Education Institution students do not qualify
  • APS 19 with Maths/Tech Maths OR 21 with Mathematical Literacy
  • It is recommended that applicants show a desire to start their own business and to become an entrepreneur

Life Orientation is excluded from the APS / score calculation.
