About This Programme

Prepares graduates with appropriate skills at operational and supervisory levels within the food and beverage industry in South Africa or internationally, covering food and beverage units, private and executive catering, marketing and promotions, training and areas of food and drinks within the industry.

Admission Requirements
Minimum APS score of 22 (excluding Life Orientation)

Required Subjects NSC levels

  • English 4 50–59%
One of the following
  • Mathematics 3 40–49%
  • Technical Mathematics 3 40–49%
  • Mathematical Literacy 4 50–59%

Additional Requirements

  • APS 22 with Maths/Tech Maths OR 24 with Mathematical Literacy

Life Orientation is excluded from the APS / score calculation.
