About This Programme

Extended Curriculum Programme variant of the BTh (Bachelor of Theology), adding one year to the standard duration. Candidates for the BTh and BDiv may come into consideration for this programme.

Admission Requirements
Minimum aggregate of 55% for the NSC (excluding Life Orientation)

Additional Requirements

  • NSC aggregate of at least 55% but below 60% (excluding Life Orientation)
  • An interview with the Dean or a representative, if required
  • Motivational letter from Church denomination/Minister pertaining to involvement in Church and indicating the reasons why student is recommended by Church/Denomination for Theology studies
Extended Curriculum Programme variant of BTh (Bachelor of Theology). This is a selection programme as limited spaces are available. Applicants with an NSC aggregate of at least 55% but below 60% (excluding Life Orientation) may be considered. Candidates for both the BTh and the BDiv may come into consideration for this programme.
