About This Programme

A 4-year extended curriculum programme (ECP) offering an alternative entry route into the Biological, Physical, Mathematical Sciences and Interdisciplinary BSc programmes. The first year is a foundational year, followed by the curriculum of one of the mainstream BSc programmes.

  • Applicants from designated diversity groups and socio-economic categories who are not meeting the selection requirements may receive an offer to change to an ECP in October
  • Applicants from designated diversity groups and socio-economic categories who did not meet the selection requirements to receive a final offer may submit a request for admission to an ECP in January
Extended Curriculum Programme variant of the mainstream BSc degrees in the Faculty of Science. ECPs add one foundational year to the standard 3-year BSc duration. Admission is targeted at applicants from designated diversity groups and socio-economic categories who do not meet the standard selection requirements. Offers may be made in October or January depending on the applicant's situation.
