A four-year professional degree in music. Fields of study include Music Education, Musicology, Music Technology, Performance, and Composition. Requires audition and theoretical test.

Required Subjects

  • Home Language 3 40–49%
  • First Additional Language 3 40–49%

Additional Requirements

  • NSC aggregate of at least 60% excluding Life Orientation
  • Home Language 50%
  • First Additional Language 40%
  • Practical standard equivalent to Grade VII in classical music
  • Theoretical knowledge equivalent to Grade V theory
  • If taking Mathematics as university subject: Mathematics 70%
