About This Programme

Offered by the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences as a Specialised Degree Programme. Focuses on international relations and prepares students for careers in diplomacy, international journalism and global organisations.

Admission Requirements
Minimum aggregate of 63% for the NSC (excluding Life Orientation)

Required Subjects percentage

Additional Requirements

  • NSC or IEB school-leaving certificate with a mark of at least 4 (50%) in each of four school subjects from the Faculty's recognised list
Extended Curriculum Programme (ECP) variant available — 4 years. ECP students selected at the discretion of the Faculty. NSC aggregate of at least 63% excluding Life Orientation. English Home Language 50% OR English First Additional Language 50%.
