The four-year extended curriculum Diploma in Electrical Engineering, designed for students who require foundational academic preparation before progressing to the mainstream programme.

Required Subjects

• English 4 50–59%
• Mathematics / Technical Mathematics 4 50–59%
• Physical Science / Technical Science 4 50–59%

Additional Requirements

• GCE/GCSE/IGCSE: 5 subjects at O-Level including Maths, Science and English A/B/C. Three must be passed at same sitting (SAQA Certificate required)
• N5 not considered for registration purposes but only for credit or exemption passes
