About This Programme

This programme covers electrical circuit theory, electronics, power systems, and industrial automation, preparing students to work as electrical engineering technicians.

Admission Requirements

Required Subjects

  • English 4 50–59%
  • Mathematics / Technical Mathematics 4 50–59%
  • Physical Science / Technical Science 4 50–59%

Additional Requirements

  • N4 with Maths, Phys Sci, Engineering Science and Grade 12 English level 4
  • NC(V) Level 4 with Phys Sci 5 and English and Maths 4 and two Electrical Infrastructure subjects 5
  • GCE/GCSE/IGCSE: 5 subjects at O-Level including Maths, Science and English A/B/C (SAQA Certificate required)
