About This Programme

This programme covers construction technology, building materials, structural design, and project management, preparing graduates for careers as building technicians and construction managers.

Admission Requirements

Required Subjects

  • English 4 50–59%
  • Mathematics / Technical Mathematics 4 50–59%
  • Physical Science / Technical Science 4 50–59%

Additional Requirements

  • Senior Cert: English D HG and Maths and Phys Sci D HG
  • N3 with 50% for Maths and English E SG
  • NC(V) Level 4 with 50% in English, Maths and LO and 60% in three Building Construction subjects and Civil & Construction Technology
  • GCE/GCSE/IGCSE: 5 subjects at O-Level including Maths, Science and English A/B/C. Three of five passed in same sitting (SAQA Certificate required)
  • FET subjects considered: N6 Quantity Surveying, N6 Building & Structural Construction, N6 Building Administration
