This one-year certificate prepares students to assist dentists in clinical and administrative tasks, including patient care, chairside assisting, and dental record management.

Admission Requirements

Required Subjects

  • English Home Language / First Additional Language 3 40–49%
  • Mathematics 3 40–49%
  • Life Sciences/ Physical Science 3 40–49%
  • Mathematical Literacy 5 60–69%

Additional Requirements

  • NSC: Higher Certificate Pass
  • Two 20 credit subjects (not more than one lang) at Level 3
First preference is given to applicants who have never studied previously at any other university. Closing date: 30 September.
