About This Programme

This diploma prepares students for careers in human resources management, covering recruitment, labour law, performance management, and organisational behaviour.

Admission Requirements
Minimum APS score of 25

Required Subjects

  • English Home Language 3 40–49%
  • Mathematics / Mathematical Literacy 3 40–49%
  • Three 20-credit subjects (not more than one language) 3 40–49%

Additional Requirements

  • English FAL requires level 4
  • Maths Lit accepted at level 4
  • Senior Cert: 20 points minimum with relevant subjects
  • NC(V) Level 4 with 50% in English and two fundamental subjects and three vocational subjects at 60%
First preference is given to applicants who have never studied previously at any other university. Meeting minimum requirements does NOT guarantee selection. Available at Durban and Pietermaritzburg campuses. Closing date: 30 September.
