About This Programme

This programme trains students in chemical analysis techniques, laboratory procedures, and quality control for the chemical and manufacturing industries.

Admission Requirements

Required Subjects

  • English 4 50–59%
  • Mathematics 4 50–59%
  • Physical Science 3 40–49%
  • Two 20-credit subjects (not more than one language) 3 40–49%

Additional Requirements

  • Senior Cert: Maths and English D HG/B SG and Phys Sci E HG/C SG
  • NC(V) Level 4 with 60% in Maths and 50% in English and Phys Sci
First preference is given to applicants who have never studied previously at any other university. Mathematical Literacy and Technical Mathematics will NOT be accepted as substitutes for Mathematics. Technical Science will not be accepted as a substitute for Physical Science. Closing date: 30 September.
