About This Programme

This degree trains language teachers for Grades 7-12, with a focus on English and an African language (IsiZulu or IsiXhosa) as teaching subjects.

Admission Requirements

Required Subjects

  • English 5 60–69%
  • IsiZulu or IsiXhosa 5 60–69%
  • Three 20-credit subjects 3 40–49%
First preference is given to applicants who have never studied previously at any other university. Indumiso Campus only. Closing date: 30 September.
