False Bay TVET College was established in 2002 through the merger of several technical colleges in the False Bay coastal region of Cape Town, Western Cape. It is a public Technical and Vocational Education and Training college operating under the Department of Higher Education and Training, offering vocational and occupational courses across five campuses in the Cape Peninsula. The college has been consistently recognised as one of the top-performing TVET colleges in South Africa and holds ISO 9001:2015 certification. It is the only institution in South Africa to provide training in Yacht and Boat Building and has been designated as a national Centre of Specialisation in both Mechanical Fitting and Rigging.

Tshwane North TVET College (TNC) was established in 2002 through the merger of three former Further Education and Training colleges: Mamelodi, Pretoria, and Soshanguve FET Colleges. Situated in the Greater Tshwane Metropolis of Gauteng province, the college operates six campuses — Mamelodi, Pretoria, Rosslyn, Soshanguve North, Soshanguve South, and Temba — alongside a central administrative office in Pretoria CBD. With approximately 20,000 students and 327 lecturers, TNC offers a comprehensive range of NCV, NATED, and occupational programmes in engineering, business studies, IT, hospitality, tourism, agriculture, and the creative arts. The college has forged notable industry partnerships with organisations including Ford, Samsung, ZEST WEG, and Huawei, and hosts a Centre for Entrepreneurship and Innovation at its Mamelodi Campus.
