VUT NOW OPEN FOR LATE APPLICATIONS

VUT (Vaal University of Technology) 2025 late applications are officially open from the 19th of January until the courses that have space are full. Individuals who were not able to apply in 2024 are now given an opportunity to submit their applications at VUT for the 2025 academic year.

How to apply at VUT for 2025 late applications online?

 Step by Step Guide on How to Apply Online at VUT for 2025 late applications

To get started with your online application process at Vaal University of Technology for 2025 you need to visit the VUT website at www.vut.ac.za 

Step 1:  accept the application rules and click "continue"

Step 2: Capture your biographical information and click "next" to proceed with your application;

Step 3: Capture results details then add subjects and click "next";

Step 4: Capture educational institution detail and click "next";

Step 5: Capture academic application details (choose 2 choices/programmes you wish to apply for), click on "add qualification" and thereafter click "next";

Step 6: Verify/Check your application details then click "continue";

Step 7: Create your 5 digit PIN (e.g 24689), click "I accept"(twice) checkbox thereafter click "Submit Application";

Step 8: Upload your documents, select "yes" on the dropdown list if all your documents are ready to be uploaded and then click "next";

Step 9: Click "Load/View Document" >> "Upload document" >> "Choose/Browse file" go to the folder where your documents are stored, choose the relevant document and click "save";

Step 10: Once all documents have been uploaded click "complete upload";

Step 11: Confirmation Page, end of application

Does VUT accept late applications?

Does VUT accept late applications? Yes, VUT does accept late applications but late applications are only considered if there are still spaces available in the programmes concerned. VUT can only accommodate a limited number of students per course. 

How much is the VUT late application fee for 2025?

Fortunately, there is no application fee for late applications at VUT. The application fee of R110 applies for both normal and late applications. Those who already have a student number and have paid the application fee the previous year, should not pay again the application fee during the late application cycle.
 

Does VUT allow walk ins in 2025?

VUT does not allow walk-ins for late applications in 2025. All late applications should be submitted online on the VUT website at www.vut.ac.za. 

Keep in mind that VUT late applications will only be considered if there are still spaces available in a particular faculty. Keep an eye to the VUT website for updates regarding late applications.
