The University of Kwazulu Natal (UKZN) has officially opened its late applications for the 2025 academic year. The UKZN 2025 late applications offer a second chance to students who missed the initial deadline. Spaces at UKZN are available for few courses and applications will close as soon as the available courses become full.

PLEASE NOTE: 

Late applications will not be considered for:

  1. College of Health Sciences programmes.
  2. Bachelor of Law (LLB) degree.
  3. Education Studies (Bachelor of Education or Postgraduate Certificates in Education).

Before submitting your late application to the University of KwaZulu-Natal (UKZN) for 2025, it is essential to ensure that you meet the minimum requirements for your chosen course, including the necessary Admission Points Score (aps). You still need to attach documents with your application even during late applications at UKZN. The following documents need to be attached on your application to be considered for admission for 2025:

  • Your ID Copy
  • Your Grade 12 final results
  • Your qualification (If you have studied at another institution)
  • Your academic record (If you have studied at another institution)

The University of KwaZulu-Natal (UKZN) has made it clear that no walk-in applications will be accepted for late applications in January 2025.   2. Fill in the application for fully and accurately
  3. Attach the required documents
  4. Pay a non refundable application fee of R420 (This fee is compulsory)
  5. Scan and save your completed form, certified documents, and proof of payment as a single PDF.
  6. Submit your application through the Freshdesk Portal. Ensure you receive a reference ticket for any future inquiries regarding your application.
