NSFAS will begin disbursing TVET college allowances from 7 February 2026, providing a major relief for qualifying students. This is the first timely disbursement since 2019, thanks to improvements by the new NSFAS administration.

By keeping late applications closed for 2026, NSFAS has ensured that funding timelines stay on track, allowing students to receive allowances and upfront payments without delays. This means you can focus on studies, accommodation, and essentials from the start of the academic year.
