About the Portia M Bursary
The Portia M bursary aims to provide financial assistance to deserving South African students facing financial challenges that hinder their studies. This includes students struggling with outstanding fees at their institutions and those facing difficulties registering due to financial exclusion. The bursary programme also aims to help first year students with registration fees.
FIELD OF STUDY
The bursary programme is open to first year students, senior students and graduates in ANY field of study.
REQUIREMENTS FOR THE PORTIA M BURSARY
To qualify for the Portia M Bursary you must meet the following requirements:
- Must be a senior student who is financially excluded by the institution to pay a required % percentage of the outstanding balance of fees to register.
- Must have completed your qualification and still owing the institution to get your qualification
- Must be a first year students who do not have money for registration fee
- Must not have any other funding or approved for funding by another provider

- Tuition fees
- Registration fees
PORTIA M BURSARY REQUIRED DOCUMENTS:
- Certified copy of your ID
- Academic transcript
- Acceptance letter/Proof of registration
- Student financial statement
