About the Khobab Wind Farm Bursary:

The goal of the Khobab Wind Farm bursary programme is to broaden educational opportunities for deserving young people from Loeriesfontein, regardless of their chosen field of study. This maximizes the programme's impact and empowers a wider range of students. By supporting the educational aspirations of the Loeriesfontein community, Khobab Wind Farm demonstrates their commitment to social responsibility and the positive development of the areas they operate in.

FIELD OF STUDY

The bursary programme is open to students who want to pursue or are pursuing an undergraduate qualification in ANY study field.  

NB: Applications for Honours and B Tech degrees, and other postgraduate qualifications, will be considered on condition that the added qualification will increase your chances to find employment. 

REQUIREMENTS FOR THE KHOBAB WIND FARM BURSARY PROGRAMME

To qualify for the Khobab Wind Farm Bursary, you must meet the following requirements:

• You must be a South African citizen.
• You must be in matric or have completed matric
• You must not be older that 35 years of age.
• You must reside in Loeriesfontein, Northern Cape province
• You must be studying or accepted to study at a registered and recognised public/private South African tertiary education or training institution, including TVETs

KHOBAB WIND FARM BURSARY COVERS:

• Accommodation.
• Living expenses.
• Study materials. 
• Tuition.

KHOBAB WIND FARM BURSARY REQUIRED DOCUMENTS:

• Acceptance letter or proof of registration
• Certified copy of ID.
• Certified copy of your latest results, if currently studying.
• Certified copy of your matric certificate. 
• Proof of  total household income
• Proof of residence.
