DUT 2024 Late Registrations are open
Durban University of Technology 2024 late registrations are open as of 26 February 2024. Students are urged to finalise their registration by 08 March 2024. The late registration period has been specifically allocated to accommodate students who encountered challenges during the scheduled registration period.

To avoid any potential complications or disruptions to the 2024 academic journey. The Student Admissions team is readily available to assist first-time entering students, while the relevant Faculty office stands prepared to support returning/continuing students with their late registration process.
How to register at DUT for 2024 academic year
Step by Step guide on how to register online at DUT for 2024 academic year:
- Visit the DUT website: https://www.dut.ac.za/
- Click on the "STUDENTS" tab
- Under the STUDENT SERVICES tab, click on (Student Self Service (web reg, results)
- Enter your student number and pin to login
- Verify your biographical details if they are correct
- Click on the menu then click on the "registration" tab (Ensure that your minimum registration fee is paid prior to progressing with the online registration process)
- If your registration status is "allow web registration" continue to accept rules and regulations (If your status is "stop registration" visit or contact the finance department.
- Once you have accepted the Rules and Regulations and you have been admitted for Online Registration. The screen will open automatically. You need to click on the next section, “Submit Registration”
- Choose modules and continue with your online registration

How to pay DUT registration Fee
Students are required to pay a minimum registration fee before registering online. DUT is promoting a cashless society campaign. Join DUT’s Cashless Society by Paying Your Fees online, via EFT or Direct Deposit.
Online: Visit www.dut.ac.za to pay your fees by credit card or debit card
Direct Deposit: Pay your fees at any Standard Bank branch, Account 050505416 use your student number as a reference (verify the account number on the DUT website)
EFT – Electronic Funds Transfer: Transfer funds directly from your account to DUT. Use your student number as reference. Remember to allow two days for the payment to reflect.
