The UP applications initially closed on the 30th of June 2025 but due to many courses having space they then decided to open again. This is a second chance to prospective students who missed the initial application deadline.

Application Fee Waiver
UP offers an application fee waiver for students whose household income is R150,000 or less per year.
During the online application process (Step 12), you can upload proof of income documentation to be considered for the fee waiver. These documents will be verified by the university.
