About the Amandla Omoya Community Trust Bursary:

The Amandla Omoya Community Trust Bursary has one goal: ‘Turning your dreams into reality’. The trust believes that everyone should have an opportunity to reach their dreams, through this bursary programme Amandla Omoya , hopes to uplift the young individuals who lives in the surrounding areas of its Jeffreys bay Wind Farm. 

FIELD OF STUDY

The bursary programme is open to students who want to pursue or are pursuing an undergraduate qualification in the following fields. 

• Technical Programmes.
• Skills Training Programmes e.g. plumbing, bricklaying etc.
• Training programmes. 

REQUIREMENTS FOR THE AMANDLA OMOYA COMMUNITY TRUST BURSARY PROGRAMME

To qualify for the Amandla Omoya Community Trust Bursary, you must meet the following requirements:

• You must be a South African citizen.
• You must be in matric OR completed matric 
• You must not be older than 35 years of age.
• You must reside within a 50 km radius of the Jeffreys Bay Wind Farm (Eastern Cape Province)
• You must be studying or accepted to study at a registered and recognised public/private South African tertiary education or training institution, including TVETs.
• You must demonstrate financial need

AMANDLA OMOYA COMMUNITY TRUST BURSARY COVERS:

• Accommodation.
• Living expenses.
• Study materials. 
• Tuition.

AMANDLA OMOYA COMMUNITY TRUST BURSARY REQUIRED DOCUMENTS:

• Acceptance letter or proof of registration
• Certified copy of ID.
• Certified copy of your latest results, if currently studying.
• Certified copy of your matric certificate OR prelims results if currently in matric
• Proof of household income
• Proof of residence.
