THINGS TO CONSIDER BEFORE APPLYING AT UL
1. GENERAL ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS

First, you have to make sure that you meet the admission requirements of the programme of your choice. Admission requirements can be found under study programmes in a prospectus. You should meet both UL minimum requirements and required APS.

APS and minimum requirements go hand in hand. APS is used by Universities to determine whether you qualify for admission to their courses. Meeting of the minimum requirement does not guarantee an applicant admission to any programme.

A valid email address
A valid cellphone number
South African applicants will need an ID number.
Foreign applicants will need their passport number.

Grade 11 final report/results
Transcript of academic record and certificate of conduct
Degree(s)/Diploma certificates
SAQA Evaluation Certificate (If you are an international applicant)

Note that Applications for the academic year 2024 are open. All applicants must apply online using the UL application system iEnabler.

APPLICATION PROCESS

STEP BY STEP GUIDE TO APPLY AT UNIVERSITY OF LIMPOPO ONLINE

Step 1: Click here to apply, accept the application rules and click "continue"

Step 2: Capture your biographical information and click "next" to proceed with your application;

Step 3: Capture your next of kin details

Step 4: Capture results details then add subjects and click "next";

Step 5: Capture educational institution detail and click "next";

Step 6: Capture academic application details (choose 2 choices/programmes you wish to apply for), click on "add qualification" and thereafter click "next";

Step 7: Verify/Check your application details then click "continue";

Step 8: Create your 5 digit PIN (e.g 24689), click "I accept"(twice) checkbox thereafter click "Submit Application";

Step 9: Upload your documents, select "yes" on the dropdown list if all your documents are ready to be uploaded and then click "next";

Step 10: Click "Load/View Document" >> "Upload document" >> "Choose/Browse file" go to the folder where your documents are stored, choose the relevant document and click "save";

Step 11: Once all documents have been uploaded click "complete upload";

Step 12: Confirmation Page, end of application

APPLICATION OUTCOMES
Applicants may monitor application outcomes on the UL website. Status may be available after 8 weeks of submitting an application. SMS will also be sent to successful applicants.
