About the SANSA Bursary programme:
The South African National Space Agency (SANSA) created their bursary programme offering in an effort to contribute to the national target for qualified individuals in science and engineering, through this programme SANSA aims and hopes to play a part in effectively resourcing the country with the necessary skills needed to build a sustainable future in line with the National Development Plan.
FIELD OF STUDY
The bursary programme is open to students who want to pursue a postgraduate qualification in the following fields:
- Earth Observation (Hons. , MSc, PhD)
- Engineering (MEng, MTech, MSc, PhD, DTech)
- Space Science (Hons, MSc, MPhil, PhD)
- Qualifications within the SANA divisions (Hons, MSc, PhD)
REQUIREMENTS FOR THE SANSA BURSARY PROGRAMME.
To qualify for the SANSA bursary programme, you must meet the following requirements:
- You must be a South African citizen.
- You must have completed matric.
- You must demonstrate financial need.
- You must be an excellent academic achiever.
- You must be accepted to study a qualification in one of the above listed fields.
SANSA BURSARY REQUIRED DOCUMENTS:
- Certified copy of applicant's ID
- Certified copy of applicants full academic record and fee statement of all years studied.
- Signed and stamped testimonial by educational official (download here)
- Application must be completed properly and in full.
