About the Jones & Wagener Bursary programme:

The Jones and Wagener Bursary programme aims to financially support deserving students who possess excellent drive and academic potential. This bursary is awarded within the company's need and strict standards and therefore is only offered to the best of the best. Students who re awarded this bursary will also be granted the opportunity to work at Jones and Wagener after the completion of their studies for a during the academic years they are funded by the company. 

FIELD OF STUDY

The bursary programme is open to students who are pursuing or want to pursue an undergraduate qualification in the following fields:

• Civil Engineering
• Environmental
• Geochemistry
• Geology

REQUIREMENTS FOR THE JONES AND WAGENER BURSARY PROGRAMME. 

To qualify for the Jones & Wagener bursary programme, you must meet the following requirements:

• You must be a South African citizen.
• You must have completed matric or currently in matric.
• You must demonstrate financial need. 
• You must be an excellent academic achiever.
• You must be accepted to study a qualification in one of the above listed fields
• You must have achieved a minimum of 75% in both Mathematics and Physical Science.

JONES AND WAGENER BURSARY COVERS:

• Tuition

NB: A cover for accommodation and limited textbook allowance can be considered. 

JONES AND WAGENER BURSARY REQUIRED DOCUMENTS:

• Certified copy of applicant's ID
• Certified copy of applicant's full academic record if currently studying
• Certified copy of Matric certificate or most recent results. 
• Certified copy of Gr 11 results if currently in matric 
• Curriculum Vitae
• Recent colour photo of yourself.

The closing date for the Jones Wagener bursary programme applications for the 2025 academic year is the 31st  of July 2024. Late and incomplete applications will not be considered. Feedback should reach successful applicants by the 31st of October 2024, if not please consider your application unsuccessful.
