The Boston City Campus bursary programme is open to students who want to pursue or are pursuing a qualification in ANY field of study at Boston City Campus.

REQUIREMENTS FOR THE BOSTON CITY CAMPUS BURSARY

To qualify for the Boston City Campus Bursary you must meet the following requirements:

• You must be a South African citizen
• You must have completed Matric OR in matric (class of 2024)
• You must  be 17 years or older (If the applicant is under the age of 18, the application must be endorsed by their parent or legal guardian in writing)
• You must have been accepted or intend to study at Boston City Campus
• Or you must be studying at Boston City Campus

BOSTON CITY CAMPUS BURSARY COVERS THE FOLLOWING EXPENSES:

• Tuition fees

NB: The Boston City Campus Bursary does not cover the following expenses:

• External examination fees
• Accommodation
• Transport
• Stationery

BOSTON CITY CAMPUS BURSARY REQUIRED DOCUMENTS:

• Copy of your ID Document
• A strong, well-worded and thought-through letter of motivation stating why you should be awarded the bursary.
• Your latest set of school/tertiary education results.

How to apply for the Boston City Campus Bursary for the 2025 academic year

There is no standard application form to be filled in. Interested and qualifying students should submit the above listed documents to the support centre where they are studying or would like to register to study in 2025.

When to apply for the Boston City Campus Bursary?

• The Boston City Campus Bursary applications open twice a year (you must apply in the correct time period for the semester for which you are requesting assistance)
• For Semester A studies: submit your application between 01 and 30 November of the previous year
• For Semester B studies: submit your application between the 01 and 31 May of that year.

CLOSING DATE:

The closing date for the Boston City Campus Bursary for the 2025 academic year is the 30th of November 2025. Please note that submission of a bursary application does NOT guarantee you will receive bursary funding. It is your responsibility as a student to do follow up regrading your funding application. 

Take Note of the Following:

Students are allowed to use only one bursary per semester or at the same time. Bursaries cannot be transferred to another person. If a successful applicant does not use the awarded bursary, it will be forfeited and cannot be exchanged for cash.

If the qualification chosen costs more than the bursary awarded, the student is responsible for paying the difference. Conversely, if the chosen qualification costs less than the value of the bursary, the student will not receive any refund or credit for the remaining amount, and it cannot be applied to other courses or qualifications.

Does NSFAS Fund Boston City Campus

The National Student Financial Aid Scheme (NSFAS) does not fund students at Boston City Campus. NSFAS funding is primarily available for students attending public universities and TVET colleges in South Africa. Since Boston City Campus is a private higher education institution, students enrolled there are not eligible for NSFAS funding.
